it is a disaster here me and my wifes combined income with no dependants doesn't even scratch the surface of affording a mortgage repayment.
you cant even buy a house out of the city and travel to work everyday cause its to expensive to do that.

also our landlord at our rental keeps trying to up our rent $50 every 6 months me and my wife are deciding wether we should leave perth.

i just can't believed whats happened here i remember looking at a house for sale in 1999 it was $80,000 now its $750,000
and my wage hasn't even doubled in that time.

the biggest problem now is that some realestate agent is showing this house as an investment oportunity because it has a big block.

its over ladies and gentleman its a massive housing bubble
with lenders offering 5% minimum deposit and interest rates so low it is possibly the worst time in australian history to buy a house. the bubble is going to pop.
