Agreed Jacketed- Labor benefited from windfall tax receipts (personal & company) and resisted temptation to blow it all. What they spent was targeted to those that need it most - $20 a week increase on jobseeker a step in right direction (it just gets a dine-in coffee & sandwich at my local cafe). AMA rep on news breakfast gave the increased incentives for bulk billing the thumbs up. Sure there will be some pressure on interest rates - damned if you do/don't.
