Ahhh...the wonders of an SMSF - all my WA1 are held in our super fund from first buy at $2.50.
As advised by several on here, my accountant has since confirmed that if I put the SMSF into pension mode while still holding my stash of WA1 (which I'm likely to do next June) there is no tax on possible future dividends, or CGT if I sell them while in pension mode. I'm sure a few others here are close enough to retirement for this to be an option.
