Rudd wants to be on board the Obama ticket just like LJH wanted to be on board the dubya ticket. Rudd swallows the rhetoric from the meeting hook line and sinker
"must spend our way out of this"
"enact infrastructure spend"
You can just hear those pollies over there all reinforcing their own ideas.
Rudd comes back and says "stevie baby I have the answer to our problems...we as the govt have the duty to stimulate this economy. We are the borrowers of last resort. No one else can build this the way we want. We have to do it ourselves. Trust me" So they roll out the announcement today.
