    You'd have to assume telephone services will be a priority on the network. If you assume the copper will eventually be redundant then you can change this to ~$30/month for phone and ~30+/month for internet. Then you get pay TV.etc etc etc


    Dont think telephone anymore think VOIP in fact dont think VOIP think ViOIP .
    Its all just data - all it needs is internet but a fast one. there wont be a seperate charge for phone calls- see whats happening in europe- phone calls(VOIP) are really just an afterthought to the broadband that you contract for.

    But really we will have shortly if not already, cheap VOIP telephones with video screens coming out of china that will make the concept of a telephone quaint.
    Even mobiles are going to be going data- skype and other VOIP providers are all porting their apps to mobiles so that all you need is 3g wireless data and you can make calls for nothing- just the cost of data.
