kozzie, here is my take on it....so much of it is about international foreign currency warfare. It is not just the US citizens that are investing in the US mkt, it is global investors; US dollar is down, US bond yields are minute.....so the money is being pumped into the next likely bubble=US stocks. The Yen is now going the same way, and global cash is pouring into the Japanese mkt.....if we were able to get our dollar down, then probably we would see investment coming back into our mkt, but we aren't so we are stuck with being in an unfashionable mkt in a stock that is mining an unfashionable commodity (at the moment).

But things will change....
