Sure GB, but it can also get to a point where a large short position becomes a target.
And that's what we have here a very large short position in excess of 100M shares and that's of 3 days ago, so its likely to be considerably higher than that now.

I personally like going long stocks where there are massive short position & the medium or long term fundamentals are good as those short sellers will become buyers.
They are banking on a CR.
I don't think they can bank on that at all.
Its certainly possible, but not bankable.
If they manage to get an asset away at a decent price (considering the current market) I think we will see the price rocket on short covering.
Buying at these levels I think will pay well in the end, perhaps in just a few short days/weeks.
