I'm not sure how much emphasis to put on that page, but it doesn't seem like companies are knocking down the door.

I'd expect a gradual take up and would therefore prefer the wait and see approach.

An interesting page, click on the individual data centres to see who is advertising in each.

Whats interesting is the Canberra DC doesn't have many companies listed.

Obviously this doesn't list large company's (e.g. Auspost, etc) who might have taken up space. But the service providers might provide a good indication of expected interest.

You also can't just look at the company in isolation.

In Sydney, GlobalSwitch is building a 2nd DC (Sydney East) which fully kitted out would be ~3x the size of S1.

In Melbourne Equinix plans to build in the same street. While not as big, its a presence in the 2 major markets (Syd & Mlb).

Funny how on top of each other they choose to build some of these big DC's, definitely gonna cause some capacity issues.
