slx should do a placement. While sentiment is so strong its an ideal chance for them to top up their cash in the event of a rainy day being just around the corner.
Another 15 million shares now would be a drop in the ocean and would raise them $40 million +.
The fact that they are not doing must be seen as either a reflection of their confidence or their arrogance. So many companies call placements when they are in dire straights rather than implementing a sound defensive strategy of topping up cash in boom times. A placement now would be good news for existing holders in my opinion.
