The China US trade war is interesting. Like a game of chicken, no one wants to be the first to move. I really can’t see China caving in. They know it will do more harm to Trump and the US. US is only 15% of Chinese trade, they can survive a while without it. How long can trump survive with empty selves in Walmart etc. How will they go with inflation and higher interest rates. A weakened dollar and a crashing stock market. Who knows China may have done their homework and suckered Trump into it. Trump will try and weasel his way out but China will make a fool out of him just like the Russians are with their fake negotiations. I’m sure they are discussing how to screw the US right now as Xi is currently in the Kremlin.
With CCO’s focus on wider Pacific resourcing and with the trade thing backing them, the Chinese may find it hard to get the same supply when things normalise. They may still get the lower quality Kava.
