I couldn’t disagree more. It’s one of the few times that AGL has done well with government engagement - Labor at the federal and state level have been singing from the same hymn sheet, commending AGL’s considered transition (with redeployment of staff across the road).
I’d say Brookfield/Origin would be in more of a bind wanting to transition Eraring but being forced to extend its life to get the takeover deal approved…
