I agree, APA Group had a sharper fall. My guess is it’s more a move away from the sector than Liddell closing.
But who cares about facts? To hell with it, they should have kept Liddell going because throwing good money after bad is a good use of shareholder funds!!!
Let’s ignore the engineering challenges (management already ran the numbers and it was too expensive to keep it open 2 more years), debt financing challenges (ain’t no one lending to unprofitable projects) and the middle of the day negative price challenges…
