Nickel Equivalent (NiEq) Calculation

Chalice has provided a nickel equivalent figure to account for the combined value of all metals, normalizing them to nickel’s economic contribution. The July 2023 resource update states the total contained metal as approximately 3 million tonnes of nickel equivalent (3 Mt NiEq). This figure incorporates the contributions of nickel, copper, cobalt, and PGEs (platinum group elements), weighted by their respective metal prices and recovery rates at the time of the estimate.

And our Clever team has gone on record verbally stating (CRUX interview) that we have proved up 5 million tonnes of contained Nickel for $9 million .
