Does not have to be a "big" deposit, it could just be a high grade deposit. Here is a list of high grade open pit gold mines, including their cash costs.

If Troy was able to access say 5g/t ore from Ohio Creek rather than 2g/t ore from Hicks and Smarts then instead of producing 70k oz pa they would be producing 175k oz pa, and at very large margins. More often than not I'm wrong but I would think that sort of figure would get the market's attention.
