are there any companies that are self reliant at all?
self reliance pretty much died in the stone age from what I see
I remember the idea of the stone axe in comparison to the computer mouse
2 pieces of technology about the same size -- but, with huge differences -
one major difference being that
one man can have the full knowledge and skills and resources to build a stone axe
in comparison - there is not a single man or woman on earth who has the knowledge, skills and resources to build a computer mouse by themselves - it's just totally impossible
basically, once we started trading - we lost our self reliance - we gave over to someone else specializing in something -
these days - the dependence on others is to stunning levels
basically, if one were alone - it would pretty much be back to the stone age - one wouldn't even really make it into copper - well, - if one did - they would have to be one very special individual
we are all dependent on others - totally in practice
