    The Census is very easy to avoid. "Nobody was at that address on that night." Simples.

    To save money the BOS just mass mailed to every known residential address rather than using humans visiting every house. They have no knowledge which addresses are actually occupied homes. It is not like voting.

    Who wants to calculate odds of a website crash when millions attempt to lodge their data simultaneously? How many people will just give up in frustration?

    The irony is there are massive private databases of usable data of the behaviour of Australians available to anybody for a price. Census taking is becoming technologically obsolete.
