Stable disease is a major win for these patients

There are SDs and there are SDs. There are SDs from the current SOCs which can leave a patient ravaged to the point of having very low quality of life. And then there are SDs from CF33 which leaves the patient only suffering a flu like symptoms for a few days which then go away. So no degrading quality of life after treatment.

All in all, this CF33 treatment is very exciting on so many front. Yes, all of it still need to be proven up beyond doubt but if successful, patients can look forward to at least SDs, if not PRs or CRs. And all without any nasty side effects that can leave them with a very low quality of life for the rest of their life. In addition, if the intravenous delivery route is successful, then no nasty IT treatment and long stay at the hospital. And most probably can be cheaper too if whichever BP were to market this treatment is not too greedy.

Finally, I like to add that in the not too distant past, we were only shown scans of animal trials. So it is really good to now be able to see scans of human trials. It is not a fantasy anymore, so to speak.
