I am a GP in Canberra. Went with a friend who has pancreatic cancer to his local oncologist, armed with a print out of the MAST trial. His oncologist had neither heard of cf33 nor even Imugene itself.
Two weeks later I referred another patient of mine to the same oncologist with metastatic colon cancer, armed with the same MAST trial outline. This man met all the stringent requirements to get onto the MAST trial. To my surprise, he suggested a trial in Sydney instead.
Imugene has much work to do in Australia at the oncologist level........
