Im of the opinion let the market decide.

They are behaving like any trader and trying to get their target for minimum price.

They will eventually need to pay up to get the remaining shares and as long as they don't get to 90% on a lowball offer we win (it's win/win as I'm sure they will still get the company for a steal but hopefully most LTers are happy).

Let them take a few years, the longer they wait the more chance Mr Market has recovered past its Euro pains and they pay even more.
