Technical buyers do provide a device to help push through key price levels however , and may in effect , force larger buyers to lift their accumualation price higher. Front running the big buyers to a degree.
Charts are a context , not a catalyst in real terms.
In AMX's case , the context shows recovery rally from heavily oversold conditions. The actual catalyst is the POG rising, a larger buyer reemerging and value investors sniffing out the significant discount in a tremendous growth story , that will continue to unfold over the years to come.
The exhaustion of a larger seller(s) is also a major catalyst. Who knows , maybe a few funds are buying back their positions ??
