The CNNNN series was excellent and fresh, a great addition to Australia's history of comedy.
But comedy is hard, especially a weekly show. Given enough time even the most talented comics start to run out of ideas and if they have been successful, people around them won't tell them it is falling flat.
The Chaser guys are suffering clunkers more often than in the past and the soup thing last night was just wrong.
I think it would be good for them to take a rest at the end of this series, maybe do something else. Perhaps a movie.
