I think carbon tax , mineral tax and more to come has had a very significant effect on all miners !
ie: negative sentiment !
Look at the typical costs here in Oz compared to other countries.
China has always complained about majors holding all the costs cards in relation to IO ! Havent heard to much about that for a long time !
The implications of the tax alone have slowed everything down let alone the long term affects !
I think ! (FMG) buy in cheap now as it drops and then wait for election and Labour gone with all its crap and then watch the China power and aust companies rise again - maybe ?
