They dont have to sell them all and all they have to do is hold them till maturity which is the same as selling.
They can sell 20% or more and China will be the beneficiary.
This thing about mutual dependence is really hope more than reality imo if you are in US stocks.
The US dollar is falling further and further.
China by far has the best growth. China has the rest of the world for exports and the US does not due to the cost. The cost in the US is so high most of the car makers are in China and have been for a long time, manufacturing in the US is too costly.
They dont have to take drastic do or die action to seriously damage the US economy given it is in bad shape right now.
Another problem right now is the BOJ has announced it is withdrawing all stock purchases, I will wait and see what effects this has.
IMO the BOJ is full of BS and I dont believe they are doing any such thing. The BOJ already owns nearly 50% of all Jap debt bonds, what a position to be in. They wont pull the QE for long imo.
