it was Americans who changed quality control in Japan
China will go the same way - Chinese products will be top quality in the future - and, probably not far away
I remember back only in about ? somewhere between 1997 and 2000 there was a race - I don't know if it was the Bathurst 500 or something similar and the Hyundai's and ?? whatever the other one was - were dropping like flies in puffs of smoke - well ----------- have a look at them now -
not long back - Hyundai's for many owners were clocking up over half a million kilometres without any issues --------- a huge difference in probably 10 or so years --
and, China at a guess will be faster to get to the quality line
