Yes Bart, weve been pretty gormless over the years with the Asians. In a lot of ways we are really dealing with the secret hand of the Chinese regime- and they have fingers in most big pies there. The Japanese steel makers were doing us like a dinner on iron ore for along time and waxing fat on it. It would have been better business to leave it in the ground. So BHP and Rio worked it out, bought up the competition and squeezed the Japs, whose fat steel industry copped the hiding of its life-and well deserved. They are alot less fat these days. They ran to the Brazilians and paid them a premium- and now the Brazilians are setting new standards in sticking it to the Asian mills. They get thanked for it! Har har har!
