A reasonable assumption IMO, as both the US and Denmark are NATO members and located close to both EU and US. The fact that Shenge is a major shareholder and certain commitments were made to Shenge for their involvement may be a serious problem and the US will not like to be excluded from this resource. Likely on the US defense department radar but not discussed because of delicate trade negotiations .
