Looks like more kindling being thrown on to the trade talk/REE bonfire by the Chinese government today. Apparently China is taking stock of REEs to perhaps ascertain how much they have left to offer other countries. Considering China intended to finally be a net importer this year according to many official statements. After a long history of being a net exporter. Its a prime opportunity to excuse themselves from any WTO requirements, given this reasonable justification, to then restrict their exports to the US.
