    Stick to natural foods and fats and stay away from anything manufactured. Simple really.
    My Mum brought us up on lard lard and more lard. She and all us children, now in our 40s all have low cholestoral, all slim and all healthy.
    Turns out lard is main source of vitamin D.

    Weston A Price was a dentist who in the thirties spent ten years visiting tribes who ate native traditional diets. All had perfect teeth and great health. The common denominator in their diets was animal fats - be it from the meat, organs and fat itself, or eggs, fish and fish eggs, milk.

    You can google his work, also google Sally Fallon who has a great cookbook called Nourishing Traditions which has a lot of fantastic information in it, as well as many great traditional recipes - cooking the way you're Mum used to, before we all turned our backs on our Mums and started listening to the experts instead!
