His theory is nothing new it's been around for a long time & he's certainly not the first to highlight the significance. Although i still find his "advertisement" conflicting he states heart disease has nothing do with "low-fat diets, saturated fats, cholesterol" yet what he's selling as the solution is very much inline & addressing those points - low-fat / saturated fats are greatly reduced by following a whole food diet no pre-packaged or processed junk - elimination (or vast reduction) in meats products with the exception of fatty fish for the high omega 3 content - although even there that can be obtained through flaxseed oil if fish allergys. I mean it's very much about low fat diets with a heavy focus on greatly reducing saturated fat intake while boosting the bodies intake of the good fats via omega 3's. Sure inflammation is the real culprit but the same actions that reduce inflammation will also reducr cholestoral so i'm not really sure where he is coming from.

Other publications that come to mind & worth reading for anyone.

    The China Study

Forks Over Knives - offical screen trailer

The Multiple Scleorsis Diet Book - Professor Roy Lave Swank
this was intially released in 1977 following a 34 year study & was directed at both MS & Heart disease + stroke although the later edition was soley focussed on MS it still maintains the use for the heart / stroke.
