not a bad post mate, but the problems now are infrastructure costs , due to our high Labor costs ( hard to do a lot about) , but also due to poor work practices, ridiculous safety rules and too much Union sway and domination, have become heinous
one of the ways of keeping a lid on Labor costs for an infrastructure project was using contractors and or contract labour etc
because of Labor and those two fine Federal Independents ( you know like the ones you push for!) Lambie and Pocock, it will be even harder to keep a lid on labour costs…State Labor had already made it nearly impossible on State funded projects
