Yes I’m glad you corrected yourself a little …I was not advocating for poor safety rules or low wages, but a bit of balance…..$160g are lowest wages on many sites I believe, skilled workers nearly double! …and too much downtime due to poor organisation sometimes, and over the top Safety regulations at other times…
eg lightning at 30 km away, down tools etc etc…others would know more than me, but there are plenty
Its not all Labor’s fault either, a lot of mining executives have a lot to answer for - spending shareholder money to help deliver uncompetitive labour markets
