theres good and bad in every person, same in politics. all premiers have done their bit on infrastructure. how else did we get our rail travel, electricity, gas etc etc.... even coal mines were initially state owned and operated.
no premier or PM is worth idealising and Joh oversaw serious corruption for which he is best known. but in his time corruption was often the norm rather than particular to Qld. NSW, Vic, SA - every state territory and country has had its own problems.
