without a creator there is no absolute. everything is only subjective - subject to the whims and whimsy of each individual. you might think rape is taboo but there are others who think it sport
the "creator" itself is a subjective writing of ancient people
as for creation itself, there are many kinds of creators, such as the creator of physical things (eg. sperm & ovum) and the creator of human suffering, such as mental pain
rape is taboo because it causes mental pain to victims
this is why most atheists do not rape
however, many Christians, such as priests, rape
Christians rape because they do not know the truth about rape, i.e., that rape causes suffering to people
instead, Christians only make reference to God & because they cannot experience God they naturally ignore the invisible rules of this invisible god
this shows why belief in the laws made by God is subjective, because, by believing in them, one is separated from the universal or objective reality of life & others
this is why many Christians believe in guns & the army, because they have no understanding about the reality of violence. these Xians believe guns are good & worship guns
where as when a person understands the universal or objective truth that rape or guns leads to suffering, one abstains from rape
therefore, Buddha, the atheist, taught:
129. All tremble at violence; all fear death. Putting oneself in the place of another, one should not kill nor cause another to kill.
130. All tremble at violence; life is dear to all. Putting oneself in the place of another, one should not kill nor cause another to kill.
