Why are you lying? I have provided countless Scripture texts to prove my point. Why don’t you at least attempt to counter some of them? It seems you rely on just one text while refusing to consider the rest in context, which clearly exposes your lack of understanding on this subject.

Your argument misrepresents Scripture and ignores the foundational nature of the Sabbath. Let me address your claims point by point:

    1. The Sabbath Was Instituted at Creation

The Sabbath was not "given" exclusively to the Israelites but was sanctified by God at creation:
    • Genesis 2:2-3 (TLV): “Then God completed on the seventh day His work that He made, and He ceased on the seventh day from all His work that He made. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, for on it He ceased from all His work that God created for the purpose of preparing.”
This act occurred long before there was an Israelite nation. The Sabbath was made holy for all humanity, not just for Israel.
    2. The Sabbath Was Made for Mankind, Not Just Israel

    Yeshua Himself stated:
    • Mark 2:27 (TLV): “Shabbat was made for man, and not man for Shabbat.”
He did not say it was made only for Israelites. The word "man" (Greek: anthropos) refers to humanity as a whole.
    3. The Ten Commandments Apply to All People

You claim I have not provided Scripture to show that the Ten Commandments are for both Jews and Gentiles. Let’s revisit:
    • Ecclesiastes 12:13 (TLV): “The end of the matter, all has been heard: Fear God and keep His mitzvot, for this is the duty of all mankind.”
    • Isaiah 56:6-7 (TLV): “Also the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai, to minister to Him, and to love the Name of Adonai, and to be His servants— all who keep from profaning Shabbat, and hold fast to My covenant— these I will bring to My holy mountain, and let them rejoice in My House of Prayer.”
These passages emphasize that God’s commandments, including the Sabbath, apply to all who follow Him.
    4. Exodus 31:16-17 in Context

You quote Exodus 31:16-17 as if it limits the Sabbath to Israelites alone. This is misleading. The covenant with Israel highlighted the Sabbath as a sign, but it does not negate its universal establishment at creation. The Sabbath is part of God’s moral law, as evidenced by its inclusion in the Ten Commandments, which are binding on all humanity.

    5. Christians and the Sabbath

The idea that Christians “celebrate the Lord’s Day” as a replacement for the Sabbath is a tradition, not a biblical commandment. There is no scriptural evidence that Yeshua or the apostles changed the Sabbath to Sunday. In fact, the early believers, including Paul, continued to observe the Sabbath:
    • Acts 17:2 (TLV): “As was his custom, Paul went to the Jewish people; and for three Shabbatot, he debated the Scriptures with them.”
    • Acts 13:42-44 shows that both Jews and Gentiles gathered on the Sabbath to hear the Word.
    6. Stop Judaizing?

To accuse someone of "Judaizing" for upholding God's commandments is to ignore that Yeshua Himself kept the Sabbath and called His followers to do the same:
    • Matthew 5:19 (TLV): “Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others the same shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
The Sabbath is not about Judaism; it is about obedience to God.
    Final Thought

The challenge to prove the Sabbath existed before it was given to Israel has been thoroughly addressed. It was instituted at creation for all humanity. The belief that the Sabbath is "Mosaic Law" alone is a misunderstanding of Scripture. I pray you will revisit the Word and seek God's truth without the influence of man-made traditions.

What do you do with the text regarding the new heavens and the new earth, where the Sabbath will still be kept? Come on, man, stop being so ignorant and arrogant on the subject—it’s so clear to understand. To claim that I have not provided clear scriptural texts to prove my point is absolutely ludicrous. Why not go to the very thread I created on the true Sabbath and respond to the first two posts? Show me where they are wrong—you won’t be able to. That’s a fact.
