    Your idea may help, but not as much as lived experience and that time is not far away, I'm afraid.

    When the Hazelwood closure was announced, I posted my opinion on what I though possible and (maybe) there would have to be deaths before it was accepted that this trajectory to 50% renewables was a recipe for disaster.

    I was lambasted by a few of the AGW hoaxers on HC and one in particular (who hasn't posted for a while) was quite savage on me and accused me of being un Australian for calling for the death of fellow citizens. I'd rather no one died as a result of this insanity, but I think it is now almost inevitable.

    I too would contribute to your suggested fund, but not sure it will take off quickly enough and then that's where the lived experience may cut in.
