Yeah I remember when I first started posting I had to tread a bit cautiously as I had no idea despite mainly getting the research from peer review articles if indeed there were any negative connotations, if there was going to be another party that were going to bring up counter points and arguments....as the months went by and I researched more, read more and discovered more about the biology involved, I slowly started getting the hint that there isn't a lot from a negative point of view.

I do occasionally call for negatives...and sure, in terms of pure science, there isn't a lot and certainly to date, there are no meaningful competitors and if there is potential some in the distant future, they have some large hurdles or are lacking in areas. Many have said that even one day if there is some definitive competition, the market is quite simply huge so there is room enough for a number of new players.

Sure from a commercial, management and business side there are many hurdles....there will be some to come, its never going to be a straight line up to heaven (clouds....or even Pool-King's domain...ie space, sorry Pool_Your_Worship..Im just kidding...your fleet of clubs on Earth are serving you well your honour)...there are a number on here that are mindful of that and are doing their best to keep us on track.
Their skills will always be required going forward and its the healthy debates and discussions here, the many thoughts and ideas that can help us into the future.

It has been a very long journey with a few twists...again I still see a number of things we need to get right before we progress further....but the good news is that we are progressing, even last week's announcement, though it might seem a little dry without data etc...its very important to get those ticks of approval to continue by the Data Safety Monitoring Board....I like how PAR have markedly increased the clinical sites across the globe and are putting up their hand to form partnerships with experts in the field to drive recruitment...when we get the GO for the next stage we will be able to ramp a lot better....a lot faster.

I remember when we did the interview with the guy with a tremendous amount of experience in clinical trials, he told me that the number one thing to look out for were the recruitment rates. Its the single best indicator on how your company is tracking....is the product working, is it liked, is it doing what its supposed to do, is it better than any std of care...are the patients HAPPY and how is the safety profile looking? AE's are minor and few and far between?.


Its all in the recruitment rates.


Bonus for you Babba and others...I will post the interview in full further below, i know there will be a number that have never seen it. One note about Part 1 Question 4...at the time we didn't have any designation, we eventually got Fast Track. (Interview was conducted in Sept 2020, Fast Track awarded mid April 2022. This Fast Track awarding opened up a number of doors for us mainly behind the scenes...


A lot could happen in just the next couple of years.

PS: Just yesterday I read what I'm terming as scientific (that is not a Par announcement) paragraph of the year....I'm putting a post together on it, will take some time as the sci is heavy.

Cant wait to post it though...the neurons in me brain are lighting up.
