    by owning so much US debt it enables them to peg the yuan to the dollar. by selling debt back to US they weaken the yuan and get less for their exports.
    so......"He also pointed out that China does not have many options to deploy its massive amounts of foreign exchange reserves."
    Then maybe the Gold Market is at the mercy of China.
