Have just seen this - I absolutely would put my hand up for surgery - the scarring wouldn’t both me whatsoever, no matter how bad.
The actions of managing this condition are not at all difficult. But the mental burden and the fact it’s so constant, day and night, rain, hail or shine, I’m finding particularly difficult at the moment.
I’m not sure how it would work financially, but if that wasn’t an issue I would go in for surgery tomorrow, even if I had to do it every single month.
Anyways, I hope my posts shed some light on these developments.
