    That was my impression from the statement that the problem was with wound bed preparation (I don’t recall where this was).

    In the vids that I’ve seen Marcus Wagstaff do he always emphasises the importance of wound bed preparation; just as you say Whytee: getting back to healthy tissue that bleeds.
