The constant manipulation with this stock is so obvious, someone mentioned valued like a declining utility when Clinuvel are in their best position ever with a monopoly for years to come. Funny how they allow the short sellers to dictate the narrative and come out with weird statements like the memorable "period of market weakness" when markets are actually at all time highs while CUV is at 5 year lows? Compare themselves to the few P/E generating biotechs which are generally mature businesses valued many multiples higher while ignoring the 90% or higher Biotechs who just burn cash while many of those cash burners are valued much higher than Clinuvel just on that hope. Ignoring analyst price targets which on average are 100% more than the current share price. All very weird.

Yesterday was yet another clear example, solid market day yet CUV closed 1% under VWAP and continued the unique record Clinuvel has in that every day they have bought back some shares the share price has fallen? Here is a list of peer stocks and guess what, yesterday every single one of them closed higher than VWAP and usually by 1% to 2% higher; COH, CSL, MSB, NAN, PME, PNV, RMD, TLX. This closing the price below VWAP has been going on for years, it's very rare for CUV to close above VWAP as shorters control the price very closely. IMO VWAP is always artificially low to begin with because of back and forth churn by the short selling hedge fund. It is how they have managed to bring the share price to where it is today at around half of analyst PTs and why such a severe undervaluation exists (the "decoupling" the Clinuvel directors talked about 6 months ago when they announced the buyback to the ASX). Is this manipulation all for a takeover? Is it to achieve certain voting outcomes at the AGM? Why do CUV not use the buyback to 'strike on shareholder behalf'? Many questions, you would think they would want a higher share price, a happier shareholder base (who have been very supportive and hold more shares ie support strategy more than most directors) and positive discussions of the excellent Clinuvel drug, their monopoly position, mega opportunities etc. Unfortunately "those who gamble against the company" dictate the narrative.

    All IMO DYOR
