That possibility crossed my mind when MOG changed the terms of its Rankin acquisition to omit the requirement that MEO "commit" to a well by 31-12-09.
MOG now positioned if MEO fails.
Apart from that, it seems likely that MEO will ink some sort of deal within the required time imo
