spottygoose,
He is taking 6 months leaves with GBJ, but resigned totally from SDL. This means, after 6 months leave, he 'll come back to GBJ but not SDL. The only string between him and SDL is his shares holding. That 's why he does not let the ship sink immediatly until he offloads all of his share holding.
golddigger1,
Offcourse, he can sell his shares, but at what price ? If he dumps all of his shares directly on the market, the sp will tank to 0.000001c, I bet. If he get out of SDL too quick (insteads of 2 months), the sp will also tank horribly, since people will smell something bad. He 's a very smart man, so he would not do that to his own money.
Rather, let the market confuse, build on JV hope, then do a sweet talk to some investors, then offload the whole lot off-market to those naive guys.
My thinking is quite oppose to you guys hope, since you guys still hold SDL shares. Everything has too side faces, so got to keep your mind open. Don't know which side is right or wrong, only time will tell. I 'm only play it safe, get out and watch....
