the coal volume boom begins now

Dalrymple Bay coal terminal, Gladstone coal terminal, Hay point coal terminal and Newcastle coal port, are all in the midst of expansion plans which will add 49Million Tonnes per annum capacity to Australia's coal export ports combined over this year and next. In addition all these ports are looking at further sizeable expansions for 2008/09. CCI Holdings (CHL) gets paid on a per tonne basis for it's extensive coal testing services, so stands to benefit strongly from the rising tonnage of export coal going out of Australia. Currently CHL has approximately 60% of the superintending market cornered, after gaining the lions share of the growing Queensland Bowen Basin coal export market, where it services both BHP and RIO.
