Actually that's totally true today but the reality is coal fired power stations are not able to competecwith renewables- they are being phased out which is why the COALition are fighting for coal. The coal lobby pay them to do that (read my last line in my previous post - that's you). With a progressive government coal will be completely gone and totally unmissed but the COALituon wishes to keep them burning for as long as possible with no regard for financial or environmental costs.
