It is rumoured that AGL doesn't want to sell it because if they shut it down it removes capacity from the market . AGL is already one of the major retailers in the market so if capacity dropped they could get a premium for their product .
If they sold it and someone utilised all the infrastructure then AGL would have more competition . Can't have that , can they ?
