These are the precise words used by the Russian ambassador to the UN at the Security Council yesterday, Monday 31st January 2022:

“The discussions about a threat of war is provocative in and of itself. You are almost calling for this. You want it to happen. You’re waiting for it to happen as if you want to make your words become a reality,” Nebenzya said during the Security Council meeting.

“This is despite the fact that we are constantly rejecting these allegations, and this is despite the fact that no threat of a planned invasion into Ukraine from the lips of any Russian politician or public figure over all of this period has been made.”

(judging by the interview he gave to the press the day before yesterday seems the Ukranian preident agrees with him too --- at least to some degree)

The Russian Ambassador also pointed out (1) that Russia has an unalienable right to excercise its own military wherever it chooses on its own territory and (2) that the figure being bandied about for the "build up" of Russian troops is nothing but an inflated guesstimate circulated by the USA (for their own motives) since no Russian official has to date announced any figure at all.

Of course being Russian he's automatically bad (init???) a liar (init????) killer (init???) psycopath (init???) thief (init???) and malintentioned, unlike the "honest" and "innocent" Ukranians and "good" Americans & Brits ( init????). That's what we've been told over and over again (init???) so it MUST be true ..... just like the Gulf of Tonkin incident and Saddam's weapons of mass destruction were true (init???).

WATCH OUT & WAKE UP!!!!

PS. My guess is that Messrs.Blinken & Biden will attempt to prevail upon the somewhat reluctant Ukranians to use the arms they've been pumped full of by NATO and "their allies" in the "international community" (sic!) to mount an offensve to retake the Donbas and (more importantly to the USA ) Crimea (hence the Russian navy based at Sevastopol). When Russia defends the latter, as it will be obliged to do, the USA and NATO will step in.
