The Koreans, Vietnamese, Iraqi's , syrians etc etc would see it as degree's . Some old diggers probably would too , the japs weren't exactly gentle. Hitler came to represent all atrocity committed during war, I doubt one man no matter who it is can fairly have that attributed to them, unless you put him at the level of a god or devil. Was he really that powerful you think ? I don't . He had political skills and was a megalomaniac absolutely , but the conditions were right. I suspect we are going to see the rise of something similar if we're not careful, these aren't exactly normal times.
