How you want to live your life, is your personal choice.

Just because you think (brainwashed by Murdoch media) the people do not live happy lives and lack freedom, does NOT make it so.

Why don't you travel there and see for yourself?!?

Every year (before the pandemic), hundreds of millions of Chinese people travel overseas - as tourists, students and business people, and the vast majority of return to China.

Here is a decade (15 years actually) long study by Harvard University about how the Chinese feel about their leadership (Gov).

The survey team found that compared to public opinion patterns in the U.S., in China there was very high satisfaction with the central government. In 2016, the last year the survey was conducted, 95.5 percent of respondents were either “relatively satisfied” or “highly satisfied” with Beijing. In contrast to these findings, Gallup reported in January of this year that their latest polling on U.S. citizen satisfaction with the American federal government revealed only 38 percent of respondents were satisfied with the federal government.

Note, this is NOT a Chinese Gov study, but one conducted by one of the most prestigious universities in the Western World.

The bottom line is: the vast majority of Chinese people are really happy with their Gov.

They have achieved economic prosperity unimagined 4 decades ago and at the same time, have lifted 800 million people out of poverty.

You don't have to like it. But the vast majority of these 1.4 Billion people like it.

And as long as they are NOT trying to tell you, how to live your life, what sanctimonious right do you have to tell them how to live their lives?

Should everyone live the US where every day, there are gun murders, gang violence and homeless???
