As an outsider looking in and from experience on new technology fronts, I feel, like car manufacturers and fuel suppliers across the world, in an effort to maintain and control/ manipulate supply chains, there will only be a few major players.
Rationalisation will occur across the whole world and be controlled by a few.
Whether that is oil supply players like your BP/ Shell/ Chevron or major car players like Mercedes/ VW or Mitsubishi/ Toyota or Ford.
These guys need control in there supply and don’t like dealing with 3rd parties.
We are seeing that majorly with Tesla and their deals
Takeovers will become the norm once things crank up, winner takes it all....
