If, every time, you see climate change being used as the reason
for anything just substitute "the will of God". It fits just as well.
I feel for the Canadians who have suffered in high temperatures
this summer. Even here (Oz), 50 is pretty hot but we are better
prepared for hot weather. In Sydney, if we had freezing conditions
and snow, we would be in serious trouble because we are not prepared
for those abnormal conditions. I've done my share of whinging this
winter as its been particularly cold by local standards.
Once you get icing conditions, common in Canada, reverse cycle A/C
stops working so I imagine they don't install A/C and suffer in very hot
weather as a result.
